We are delighted to announce the release of our first ever still wines from the exceptional 2018 vintage.
Since 2018 was a near perfect growing season, it resulted in a large crop of very high-quality fruit. Although all three varieties cropped extremely well, it was the high yield of Chardonnay that was the greatest achievement, especially considering the quality was also very good.
All of the wines from this year also received very little intervention, with only small sugar and sulphur dioxide additions and everything fermenting with native yeasts.
Our first still 100% Chardonnay (RRP £15) was made thanks to spontaneous fermentation, and is unfined and unfiltered. On the nose it has delicious aromas of kiwi and melon, with fresh salinity and wet stone on the palate. The finish is rich and creamy leaving a long satisfying finish.

And our first still Rosé made from 82% Pinot Noir and 18% Chardonnay is also made thanks to spontaneous fermentation and left unfined. On the nose it has perfumed aromas of redcurrant and raspberry leaf with delicious hints of strawberry and red apple on the palate. The finish is creamy and refreshing.
