This summer's warm weather means we're predicting a bumper harvest!
It’s that time of year again when Langham Wine Estate calls upon Dorset’s finest.

We’ve always been overwhelmed by the dedication, passion and work ethic shown by our local supporters who are eager to help with the production of our home-grown fizz. At no time is this more evident than during Harvest. Every year that we’ve put out the call for pickers we’ve managed to get together a great team of people. A team continually keen to get stuck in, get their hands dirty/sticky and have a few laughs along the way. It’s this atmosphere that makes harvest such a fun and exciting time of year, and helps to pull the team through especially when conditions get tough. Who’s afraid of a little light drizzle anyway?!

This year is going to be no exception as we put out the call again! We’re already estimating a bumper crop of around 80-90 tons. Picking is due to start around the 1st October and will most likely go on for approx. 2 ½ weeks.

We are looking for fit, healthy people. No experience necessary, but an appreciation of the outdoors and willingness to work hard and get the job done is essential.

Although hard work, it’s a very rewarding process. You will become part of a close-knit team bringing in only the highest quality fruit, destined for world class fizz. After all, Langham Wine Estate has won some quite impressive National and International awards over the years!
