Pinot Noir 2019 (Sold Out)

£57.95

A truly individual wine. Ten barrels of pinot noir from the 2019 vintage demanded to be bottled as a special release. Powerful on the nose with notes of forest floor and red cherry more typical of a red pinot than sparkling. Oak fermentation and ageing lend the wine spice and structure on the palate.

Serendipity

Eight exceptional barrels of Pinot Noir from the 2019 vintage; the best fruit from that year, harvested just before the October rain. Our winemakers felt that such quality shouldn’t be hidden in a blend and instead bottled this Blanc de Noirs, which would go on to be our first zero-dosage wine.

Acclaim

Multi Award Winning

Deepish hue. Peanut initially! Quite aldehydic and complex and umami-opulent. Palate shows low dosage but not unbalanced. Gastronomic and serious. Characterful. Complex with candle wax, creamy well integrated mousse, long finish. A more mature style.

WineGB Awards 2025

“Bruised apple and violet leads into a palate bursting with wild strawberry and milk chocolate, showcasing a rich texture and precise acidity. The finish is bright, long, and beautifully incisive” – IWSC Judges John Hoskins MW, Kelly Stevenson, Rebecca Palmer, Luke Harbor.

Tasting notes

A statement Blanc de Noirs with considerable ageing potential

Floral vanilla, peach and apricot on the nose. A powerful, assertive palate of salted almonds and white grapefruit follows, with the grip of oak tannins.
