Lifted and giving on the nose with a rich stone fruit core. White peach, ripe apricots & red plum, a lactic, sweet tartness and burnt sugar; like a Basque cheesecake with poached rhubarb. Hints of watercress, spearmint & graphite freshen keep things fresh. The palate is framed by bright blood orange acidity. Intensity and fruit ripeness fill the mouth, with rhubarb & buttermilk. A note of flamed orange oil gives fragrant balance on the finish. The wine is structured around the grip of red wine and oak tannins, blood orange acidity and a dry finish at just 0.5g/L dosage.
