Can I bring dogs to the vineyard?

Yes, dogs are more than welcome, although please be aware that it’s a working vineyard and there may be tractors moving around the site. We also ask that you pick up after your dogs.

Are children welcome?

Yes, children are welcome at the vineyard and may accompany you on our tours free of charge – however we do like to remind you that the guided tour is a 2-hour educational wine tour, so depending on the extent of your child’s burgeoning love for wine, you may wish to do the Self-Guided Tour instead.

Buggies can be brought along, the vineyard ground drains well and is usually fairly solid in the spring & summer.

Can we bring our own food/picnic to the vineyard?

No, we politely ask that you do not bring any of your own food or drink on-site. Langham Vineyard Café offers a variety of menus ranging from hot lunches, to platters, picnics and desserts. Please click here for more details.

How do I book a picnic in the vineyard?

If you would like to book a picnic, please follow the same process as booking a table in our cafe.  Once you have made your booking, upon arrival you will have the option to use a table in the barn if the weather isn’t great, or to take your picnic to one of the benches in the vineyard.

We request that picnics are booked at least 24 hours in advance so that they can be boxed-up and ready for you to collect on arrival.

Please note that our picnics may only be available seasonally. Please head to our Cafe page to see all current menus and offerings.

Do you offer vegetarian alternatives?

Absolutely, if you have any allergies or dietary requirements please just let us know in the booking comments and the kitchen will accommodate for them.

Do you have space undercover to have our picnic if the weather is bad?

We have a converted barn which has windbreak sides and infrared heaters where you may sit if the weather disappoints. If you have booked in for a picnic – we will ensure that you have the option of sitting undercover.

How do I order wine online?

Please head over to our Online Shop where you can order from our range of wines.  We use a nationwide courier service for our deliveries and aim to have all of them fulfilled within 5 working days, more often than not the wine is delivered in less than 5 working days.

Can I buy your wines when I visit?

Absolutely, that’s what we’re here for! Our Cellar Door staff are always here during our opening hours to guide you through the range and provide you with some delicious Dorset Sparkling Wine to home with you!

Where else can I find your wines?

We are stocked in a variety of Farm Shops, Independent Wine Shops & Restaurants – please see our Stockists page for more details.

Do I have to book a tour and tasting?

Our guided tours run daily and are limited to 24 people, these must be booked via the website and should be pre-booked in advance of your visit, especially in the busy summer months – see here for more info.

Our Self-Guided Tours are designed for those of you who don’t want to be fixed to a strict schedule. We will have space for 20 people to attend daily between 10:30am and 3pm – see here to book in for your chosen date.

Can I just do a wine tasting, without the tour?

Our “Self-Guided Tour” includes at Tasting Flight of 3 of our wines, which you may try at your own pace, plus this option grants you access to the vineyard for a walk around our information signs.

How long should I allow for a Self-Guided Tour?

The beauty of the self-guided tour is that you can spend as long or as short a time as you wish! We will pour you your flight of 3 sparkling wines which you can take to a picnic bench or wander around the vineyard with for as long as you please.

We would recommend around 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours to enjoy the walk and spend time tasting the 3 wines.
