February is here and Pink Fizz is the flavour of the month! Langham Rosé featured in Decanter and Vineyard Magazine.

February’s edition of Vineyard Magazine featured a very apt round-up of three of the UK’s best Sparkling Rosés by renowned wine writer Matthew Jukes. The Langham Team were delighted to see the image of our Sparkling Rosé front and centre in the feature, accompanied by some very kind words from Matthew.

“Made using 6% red wine and 15% reserve wine, this is one of the most harmonious and silky rosé wines in the UK.  The overall blend is 46% Pinot Noir, 18% Pinot Meunier and 36% Chardonnay, all taken from the Crawthorne Vineyard, and the base vintage is 2018.  There is very much a 2018 juiciness about this wine which brings thrilling harmony and uncommon succulence.  There is also a very low dosage here of 3g/L, and I imagine this is because the fruit is so pliable and welcoming.
If you are a fan of tender, smooth elegant wines, you will find it hard to better this fabulous creation.  Langham tends to keep a fairly low profile and yet every time I encounter these wines I am delighted and am reminded that they are very much a hidden gem in our wine landscape.”
