What a time it is for English Wine!
Our industry is going from strength to strength and The Financial Times How to Spend It asked drinks writer and Wine GB Awards judge, Alice Lascelles to curate a case of outstanding English wines to showcase the most exciting producers on the scene.
We’re humbled and delighted to say Langham Wine’s Rosé NV was selected to be inculded in this limited release case alongside some amazingly talented fellow producers.
Based upon the stand out wines from the awards, which were tasted blind, Alice Lascelles selected 6 wines to be included in this limited edition case.
When describing Langham Wine’s sparkling Rosé, Lascelles says, “this copper-pink, traditional-method rosé is a fine example of this winery’s polished, silky style – creamy and sharp as Greek yoghurt, stirred through with ripe apricot, raspberry and a dash of rosewater, it marries ripe red fruits with crisp, very “English” acidity and a golden biscuitiness.”
Also in the case are wines from Gusbourne, Chapel Down, Harrow and Hope, Westwell and Artelium, all of whom are industry leaders and offer up distinctive styles of winemaking. With a selection of both sparkling and still wines, this case offers a mouthwatering insight into the best producers in the country.
