Since we have been in lockdown, the country has seen a surge in online activities; quizzes and dinners are regularly hosted over zoom in many households, and throughout the UK a series of online wine tastings, Q&A’s and vineyard tours have been taking place.
Since the #theBIGenglishwinegoodfriday back in April, which reached over 13M people, WineGB has been featuring vineyards across the country with a different region taking the spotlight each Friday night. These businesses, many of whom are going through a difficult time at present having to close their doors to the public, have taken to Instagram, Facebook & YouTube to spread the word about their products.
On Friday 29th May WineGB will feature the West as a region and we at Langham Wine Estate decided to bring together 5 other members of WineGB West and create a mixed case of wines to showcase the skills, hard work and versatility of a few of the vineyards in our region. This case went on sale from our online shop yesterday, 25th May. We would encourage people all across the UK to purchase this carefully curated selection, and join in with the rest of the country at 7pm on Friday the 29th by sampling some of the best the region has to offer, sharing their experience with the hastags #winegbwest #EnglishWineNight.

This selection of both still and sparkling wines includes a number of award winning products, a limited edition sparkling of which only 500 bottles were made, and a unique organic certified Orange Wine; so there is definitely something for everyone, with an opportunity to tantalise the tastebuds and learn a little more about England’s growing wine industry.
